Away From Home

The cold was so intense that the ground beneath her feet slowly started to split open. Jennifer was terrified and started running towards home. She knew she should have lietend to her mom instead of going into the woods. As she was running she slipped and fell. She hit her nose very hard on the snow covered ground and started bleeding. Jennifer felt lonely, scared, and very cold. From where the ground had split open there came a bright white colour. Then it turned to black, red, green, and many other colours that were mixed together. There came a loud howl and out came something that Jennifer couldn't tell what it was. Jennifer couldn't get her eyes off this disgusting, inhuman, monster... whatever it was. Instead of eyes it had black sockets. It was covered in hair and slime. The thing had twelve heads with no eyes except in the middle two heads had black sockets each. Instead of arms there were snakes dangling from the monster's armpits. Where the feet should have been there were, probably thousands, of scorpions all glued to it. Then it slowly started coming towards Jennifer.

In Trouble

"Okay, sweety we are leaving  now," said mom. "Close the doors and don't let anyone in not unless it's us." She kissed us goodbye and left. My parents were going out for dinner, my brother Jack and I were staying at home. I don't like my brother, he is loud, annoying, never says thank you when he makes me clean his room. "Hey Stela I'm gonna call over my friends so don't come into my room and DON"T leave the living room. watch t.v.," my brother shouted from upstairs. He always does that when our parents go out. My brother thinks I'm stupid but don't worry I have a plan. My daddy said he works in a big court and I found a paper that said POLICE EMERGENCY I think, in big red letters. I will call them and they will tell my brother to be nice to me and not make me clean his room. The police arrived fast and I told my brother that the police were here. He started shouting random things which I didn't understand. I'm getting scared and the police officers are knocking very loudly. I slowly went to open the door and told them my plan. I was very scared but they had big smiles on their faces. the three police officers called my brother and said he was in big trouble. my brother slowly opened the door and he looked very scared. He asked quietly, "what is going on? Stella..." Just then the door opened, mom and dad walked in surprised. Uh Oh.

or atrocious times

like a silhouette

As the primary adolescent,
I brought a glow to your demeanour
when I took my first footstep
never letting go of my hand.

Brightening my days
with your affectionate smile
and eyes full of fondness.

Always cooking the best
for everyone and leaving yourself.

Your eyes are filled with tears
when sickness takes over.

You are a treasure amongst jewels
without you life is incomplete
