In the Woods

"The cold was so intense that the ground beneath her feet slowly started to split open. Jennifer was terrified and started running towards home. She knew she should have listened to her mom instead of going into the woods. As she was running she slipped and fell. She hit her nose very hard on the snow covered ground and started bleeding. Jennifer took out her handkerchief  felt lonely, scared and very cold. From where the ground had split open came a bright white colour. Then it turned to black, red, green and many other colours that were all mixed together. There came a loud howl and out came something that Jennifer couldn't get her eyes off. It looked so disgusting, so inhuman, nothing like the monsters she read about. Instead of eyes it black sockets that covered his, probably over a hundred, faces like polka dots. The monsters faces were covered in hair and slime. Instead of hair there was thousands of ants crawling on top of his head. Instead of arms there hundreds of a=snakes dangling. No body but a fat piece of flesh that smelled of rotten cheese. Where the feet should have been there what seemed like hundreds of scorpions attached. It tilted his head looking at Jennifer and slowly started coming towards her..."

  1. Zeba! I'm glad you decided to publish this piece. It is very intriguing. Don't forget you use paragraphs in your writing. This is proper, but it also makes it easier for readers to read:)
